For this project, my team was challenged to do a 6-Day Design Challenge, where we were called to create a digital solution for a social health issue. We created an app called Fleet.

01

define scope

Our problem scope was quite large so our first step was to consider our restraints. Having only 6-days to start this project start to finish.

How Might We?

User Interviews

One of the main design methods we used were User Interviews. The user interviews were pivotal in deciding how we were to continue on in our project. We conducted four user interviews that have different backgrounds and experiences in moving to different cities. We talked about how their past social experiences shaped the ones going into the future. We also asked them to talk their current feelings on their place in the city and to give specific moments on why they have come to feel this way.

Affinity Mapping

We also used affinity mapping to learn more about digest the information that we gathered in our user interviews. It helped us draw connections between what our users were feeling and patterns related to their experiences. They also showed us their desires, ideals, and expectations. This helped guide our directions of what specific application/product our users might need.
